  1. Just watched it myself and I have to agree on the very good front. I'm sure you've heard me say this before but I know a few that's suffered from post war depression, one taking his own life a couple of years back. That and having a family of my own and seeing him miss out on things made the last half hour was very emotional. therefore, I'd give it a 8.5/10

And since I know you love Corrie, I thought you'd like this...

Finished Season 4 of Boardwalk Empire last night, just one Season left and it's shorter than the rest with only 8 episodes.

Boardwalk Empire great series even a scouser playing Capone (Stephen Graham).
Decent cop film bit like Jesse Stone but set in Oz ( so no razzmatazz shooting all over the place) is...."Broken Shore"...slow burn sort of film.

I'm glad I went back to it, the first two seasons are intentionally slow and that has put some people off but seasons 3 & 4 certainly pick up the pace.

Going to watch episode 2 tonight, yes it carries on from the first. They should have had an American style "last time on Broadchurch!" though as I couldn't remember the last one very well.

It's worth doing that and overall it's a good programme.

Been watching Silent Witness. The first two parter was terrible but the latest (eps 3 & 4) was a lot better, def worth looking at.

Loved Boardwalk Empire great series and great ending.

    The Wire
    The Sopranos
    True Detective
    Boardwalk Empire

As it stands with completed TV series/seasons, True Detective stands alone as a one off, there maybe more but as a one off it would rank there.

All great shows, but you forgot Game of Thrones!
Those and GoT rank amongst the best of all time.

I would definitely class Matthew Mcconaughey's character as somewhat weird. Though his spiritual beliefs pretty much fall in line with my own.
I owe a lot to that character, never so eloquently has my belief structure been put in to words.

Nothing wrong with Colin Farrell imo though, I haven't seen a lot of his films but I liked "In Brugge".
