Ravel Morrison is nothing like Marlon King, Ravel is one of the best! but his attitude does stink and I'm not sure Bruce would take the same chance he did with Ben Arfa! I do believe that Ravel has tried to revive his career but didn't get his chance at Cardiff on loan so was looking at a move to Lazio, which seems to have fallen through now! Aston Villa are interested but there is meant to be another Premier League club interested aswell!.....I would take my chance on him as he is one of the best Talents in the PL, the downside is he knows it and it ruins the player he could be!
http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/yannick-sagbo-wants-ligue-1-return/ Sagbo fancies going home!
Morrison was supposed to sign for Lazio today, but they pulled out of negotiations this morning, someone must have told them he's a twat.
I heard it was Ravel that pulled out of the move because of interest from other Premier League clubs, with the injuries we have and the lack of quality we can't simply be playing players who are nice! yes we had trouble with Ben Arfa but he's a lazy b*****d, atleast Ravel gives it his all when he gets a game! Yes we dont want the dressing room getting on t each other, but with the dressing room been as it is, it isn't working either, so might aswell take a punt on the lad!
Not sure if you are being serious or not, but Adebayor is just the type of striker we need right now.
I guess you did not see his performance against us at the KC last season then? He ran the channels, held the ball well, brought others into the game, etc.
I would take a punt on him. As others had said, we aint got much to lose and we are lacking some creativity.
Wasn't it this time last season West Ham fans were waxing lyrical about him, calling for him to be in the England squad? On his day Morrison is a true talent, however he comes across as a immature, big headed chav.
he is one of the best young english talents around, unfortuntely his personality seems a problem, maybe taking him away from the bright lights of London might help him! and I have seen adebayor, he must have something for real madrid to sign him but I have yet to see it!
I dunno - I think we need to wait for all the details to emerge during the case before you can say that for sure. On the one hand, Marlon is a proven striker over a long period of time, including the classic nose-breaking of an unsuspecting young woman with a punch just hours after scoring for City. He has also shown his versatility by seriously injuring people in two separate car crashes just months apart. On the other, Morrison has bags of potential as a violent miscreant (viz the acid charge, which was dropped). Let's see what comes out in the case before claiming he's a more punishing striker than Marlon, though.
Despite everyone's criticism about him, I'm gutted Sanogo has signed for Palace. We may have missed a trick with this lad, watch him do well for Palace and keep them up. So who, realistically can we sign on loan for the rest of the season upfront? Adebayor? Soldado? (Just a joke, no seriousness in this one) Lambert? Walters? (Not starting for Stoke every week, scored 6 goals this season, maybe worth a punt?) Or even a couple from Bundesliga who aren't getting games? Claudio Pizarro (Bayern Munich striker) / Adrian Ramos (Borussia Dortmund striker)
I'm sure, like most loans, Spurs would be willing to subsidise part of his wages just to get him off the books, like we did with Bullard.
