Surprise surprise, One of them was linked to us Ryan tunnicliffe. Nicky Ajose is meant to be very promising!
Was wondering when DF will learn to stand on his own two feet!!!
Will these Man u players be recalled if DF gets sacked?

It's hardly a surprise really.... Think we'd all do the same in either Daddy's or son's position!!

It will be interesting to see if we do get any of his players, seeming Makly has left. I know we had some before he came in as manager, but he also had a good relationship with Fergie, so suspect any loanees will go to Posh or Cardiff first!

I wonder which is the major factor when a manager sends out a player on loan: is it simply the manager of the destination club, or the overall set-up and means by which the loanee can be nurtured? It would be nice to think that SAF and others would continue to be happy to entrust players to us, whoever is in charge, because of a reputation for being a good learning environment.

Yes, it would be nice that Fergie chooses the whole club rather than just one part of it to decide where to send his players... and hopefully Malky soured the relationship by not playing Drinkwater as much as Fergie had hoped... But the fact Fergie suggested the player to him shows that he does respect Malky as a manager. Let's hope Dyche can build these relationships as well - and has a loud voice to shout over the training ground fence!

It will make them think twice about sacking him I guess if they will lose half their squad as a result.

Not surprising, he supports his own flesh and blood and if DF fails SAF will do what he did when DF lost his job at Preston, SAF withdrew his loanees!

Not surprising at all but it is using the cub as his personal fiefdom

nope, no surprise..and DF won't get the sack a second time...i'm sure of that. They are determined to stay up this season, and with SAF behind them, i'm sure they will.

Expected really, but Ferguson has been great with loaning watford players over the years so we cant really complain.

Not quite sure if Darren Ferguson qualifies as a 'cub'?

Suppose so if SAF is a lion......

It's worth remembering that in 2009, when Darren Ferguson was a Championship manager, we got Tom Cleverley and Craig Cathcart. Both of them have gone on to show that they are quality players, even if Cathcart didn't really show it at Watford.

And I'd take the Man Utd loanees and league position we got over the Man Utd loanees and league position that Preston got last season.

With three big names short finals for Sunderland you can see where, quite understandably, SAF wants his new and older players to go. For loan players perhaps we should be looking closer to home, Spurs and Arsenal for instance.

Not so sure 46, As a club we have built a good reputation with Man U , WE should still keep asking SAF for the right players , along with asking Spurs and Arsenal and hopefully Villa!

I also see that Joe Cole may be loaned to the Irons and Kevin Phillips could be off to Blackpool, busy busy busy......I'll have a word with 'Arry and see whether he'll release Modric!

Beggars can't be choosers, but I'm mot too keen on looking at Spurs reserves.

If only Harry were England manager. He would find a way to loan clubs like us Brazilians, Argentinians and a sprinkling of the best that Africa and Asia have to offer, knowing that we would develop them, and in 2018 he would have the best team in the world.
