    Happy Easter!

Welcome Jermaine and well done DC and even Higgs. Hopefully he'll be the signing to get us back into the League. <ok>

I'm not quite sure about redemption. Maybe we can talk about redemption once we're back in the league and the new stadium's on the way!

Too right. That's where we were before he stuck his oar in.

Do you know that there are only two teams in the top 5 divisions who have not lost a game in the last ten - us and Man City!

It is. Dead easy to find out - the BBC 'view full table' of each division has the last ten matches - win, lose or draw, and initially I thought it was only us until I checked the Prem and found out Man City haven't lost in the last 10 games either.

ok, i see your stats and i raise it with this beauty....

from 01/01/14 to 31/12/14, rovers have the won more home games than all prem clubs and pretty much every club apart from luton and brentford who both won 17 each and derby won 16 which is the same amount as us <ok>

I hate that stat because it makes it look like we had a storming 2014 when in fact it was the worst year in the club's history for ****'s sake!!!

    how about this one....

excluding the prem (so just championship, leagues 1 & 2 and non league = 96 teams), from 01/01/14 - 31/12/14, we won 79 points which is the joint 9th best out of all 96 teams. Top 10 <ok>

    01 Wolves................. 92
    02 Luton................... 90
    03 Preston................ 86
    03 Derby.................. 86
    05 Bournemouth....... 85
    05 Brentford............. 85
    07 Bristol City........... 84
    08 Ipswich................ 80
    09 Swindon.............. 79
    09 Bristol Rovers....... 79

That's just downright evil. We were so, so bad last season.

On a happier note, our average attendances have now breached the 6k mark http://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/confprem/attendances

    Not bad for non-league!

reason why i didnt add prem clubs as they play a lot less games than us. example, they play 37/38 games and we played 51 so obviously it would be unfair to compare with them as we would get many more points as played more games. however, 2 clubs from the prem had more points than us and thats chelsea and man city. if you add their league then we are joint 11th out of 116 teams.

I'm still worried about the break. Hope the lads don't lose their sharpness...

I'm not too worried about that. It gives the team more time to sort out how best to improve their play in the final third. They will also have the benefit of the time to integrate the new signing/s.

The time I was thinking about was when the weather was so bad they couldn't even train properly - back in Trolls time. You're right, because if they use the time well everyone will be as fit as butchers dogs and the new players will all feel like part of the team.

Interesting that Easter has joined us, as it means that he follows in the footsteps of his brother Jamal, who played for us for a short spell of the 2006-07 season. His only goal for us came at Wycombe in the JPT in October 2006 and ironically, both of them were playing in that match. Jermaine was in the colours of Wycombe, and though he didn't score that night, he did net against us 7 months earlier.
