    They haven't seen Yedlin yet.

ITKs reporting that Ings is available for 9m and that he would move if we went for him.

For me buying a player who is scoring well for a lower club is like getting a coach who has taken a team up from the Championship within two seasons of being there, they usually go on to fail in the big time. I don't want Ings.

Ings for £9m is a deal I'd definitely take up. English, still only 22 and has good ability and potential. £9m is actually pretty cheap when considering the English market. He can also play on the wing so the versatility factor is always a bonus.

Ings for £9m? I like him, but he's out of contract in the summer and he'll be 23 in July, so he'll be free.
Can't see Levy going for that deal, somehow.

Also available on Bosmans are Klaas Jan Huntelaar, Luiz Adriano, Sebastian Giovinco and Pierre-Andre Gignac.
That's a lot of firepower to pick up for no fee. Their wages would be pretty high though, I'd have thought.

Van der Vaart's out of contract, too. Wonder where he'll end up?

£9m is too much considering his contract. I'd maybe pay £5m to ensure we get him rather than risk other clubs coming in when he is free.

I've not seen enough of him to judge. However, if M.P. likes him, then it's a question of negotiate the best fee possible and sign him now. Or, take a risk that he doesn't have a great rest of the season and then have clubs who will pay a lot more than us after him.

Ings is out of contract in summer but due to age we would have to pay a fee by tribunal... Holiett from Blackburn to qpr was around £4m, so we would be looking around the same or even more!

I thought 23 was the limit, Hengy? Is it 24?

I guess we could sign Ings and Berahino and save Southgate having to travel anywhere to watch strikers for the summer.

Think it's because he's 22 at the end of the season. Sure the rules are until the end of the season of the player’s 23rd birthday.

I know definitely compensation needs to be paid this summer for him.

Personally id snap him up for the quoted £9m

First and foremost we need to sort out the midfield, as with Bentaleb being ACoNned we clearly missed him. In other words, hurry up and get Rabiot in!!!

I haven't seen much of him, either.
Scored a decent goal the other day to put PSG 2-0 up against Bastia, but they lost 4-2.

    Poor analogy.
Remember that joke player Spurs bought from a non-league club ??
Graham Roberts was it. Whatever happened to him (i assume he never played for the seniors) ...

Apparently we are selling Paulinho and Soldado to buy Bacca, could work.

It's rare though RD as Roberts proved.

In the quest to build a squad that can compete on all fronts, supporters of a
club with the current silverware tally and wage offering of Spurs should not be
    too dismissive of such players.

A big scorer in La Liga? No chance that won't work out.

I'm still getting used to the idea of us not getting Rabiot. It will take a day or two to wrap my head around not getting Bacca as well.

These January transfer rumors are entertaining, but I tend to assume there's nothing to them on the grounds there almost always isn't.

Ade to another club asap please but what makes him think he's worth 100k a week? He isn't worth that a year.
