Contrary to what many people might expect, I am still on the bus. I like many of Poyet's ideas and can see a long-term advantage in them. The problem is he's new to the Premiership, and he's come up with some fixed ideas that don't quite give the results he expected. And there's a stubborn streak in him that's makes him hold on to them longer than might be wise. But as long as we stay up, I would stick with him a while.
Still on the bus, I think there does need to be a more expansive approach at home, other than that I'm more than happy with Gus. We won't go down this season and then we need a few quality additions in the summer. Look at Southampton and West Ham, both have pushed on and both have spent big money on quality players. We need to do the same.
Y not try virgini in centre mid good feet should be able to get up and down always looks a threat in the box it worked for kevin ball its just a thought before u crucify me
Ha ha. Good one, pops. I actually think the midfield would run sideways and the forwards would just fall over.
Really? I think Poyet under achieved with the money he spent. plus people on here think we will changed our style when he signs better players but Poyet style at Brighton was boring as hell to. no ability to change anything sorry pal.
It's really frustrating and Poyet's comments are aggravating. I like him but I don't think he's coming across well in these interviews. If he wants to put pressure on Short he should do it 'in house'.
