Nope Taarabt has to play from the start for me and Zarate doesn't even understand what LR is yet Taarabt does he will be loved Plus he has un done good United sides in the past and looked total class in those games e.g.: his pass that DJ campbell missed was world class Bring on Zarate if adel gets knackered after all he is three stone overweight
They will play 3-5-2. We have to decide whether to try to take the game to them or try to contain them. Given that our success in containing teams is zero, the choice is obvious, so I'd go for your team with Taarabt instead of Hoilett. I really wish Yun were fit though. Depending on the state of the game, last 20 for Zamora.
I think I would like to play Adel instead of Hoillet....and Ned for Clint But do not think there is enough defensive strength in the midfield, which is why I think Arry would persist with Barton I think Arrys main sin in this is not covering his bases strongly enough, the fringe players are really just not good enough And after we all complained about the surfeit of midfielders we had....none of them are good enough

If Adel has trained another week he should be able to improve on his OK game Saturday and then I'd much prefer him to Hoilett. Barton has to be in for me, he's our motor, leader, does twice as much as anyone else, I'd play him holding with strict instructions to stick back there (hard on Henry though). And I'd give Traore another go at LB with someone screaming at him all game to concentrate - Clint is just too slow there against teams like ManU, and he needs to pass to his midfield far more than he did Saturday.
Yep, I'd agree that Taarabt could start instead of either Fer or Hoilett. In fact, I'd prefer that now. I included Hoilett because I think we need pace to get at them down the sides.
Adel has to start. The reception he will get will be huge. Fer should be dropped. Start Hoilett Clint looked well off the pace but Traore is not the answer - possibly Ned?
I think we have to attack and accept that they will have the midfield, as we will be outnumbered in there as usual at home. Kind of agree with Beth but I would play Ned at centre back and Caulker at left back I also prefer your first team with this adjustment.
Zamora HAVE to play imo. He would bully their centrebacks with ease, Smalling and Jones don't stand a chance. Let Austin, Zarate, Fer and Vargas feed of whatever Zamora serves up. Zarate and Fer to interchange positions and Isla and Vargas' excellent partnership should trouble Shaw no ends. Henry need to work overtime though, Hill will need cover with the likes of Fer and Zarate ahead of him. Yes, I agree with that team Flanman. Plus I think Caulker offers more going forward then Ned. Replace Adel with Bobby for the last half hour and draw Zarate and Vargas back a bit. Anyone know what happened to Niko by the way? Is he crocked?
Start Adel and take the game to them It can't be any worse than trying to hold out for 90 minutes to nick a draw and getting thumped 4 nil or something
Mmm.............I actually think that Zamora will get nothing from their CBs. I think they're more vulnerable on the floor and down the sides. Time will tell. Pretty sure we'll see the usual Redknapp home selections.
