Yep think we would at least be in the Prem if we had kept our youngsters

 

Saints are doing fantastic when you consider the amount of talent that they sold in the summer.

 

Just for once I'd love to see a team like the saints break the stranglehold of the usual Cl qualifiers. I'd also like to see the fa cup winners get the fourth cl place. Bet you wouldn't see many reserve teams being fielded then

 

I never understood how you could be in the 'champions league' when fiinishing 2nd,3rd or fourth.
I guess sky etc fecked that up.

 

its the fairs cup/ uefa cup, call it what you want, but that's all it is

I know mate, but back in the day as you know, the champions of each country qualified for the European cup, which is now the Champions league, the other top three clubs qualified for the fairs cup/uefa cup, now they've lumped them all together,, for more money ,so in my humble opinion they're not champions , its the ****ing fairs cup so ****'em

 

Van Gaal is a typical Edam head, absolutely clueless. He did not have the best player even on the bench, Falcao, which tells me there maybe unrest in the camp. He has spent 150 million and Southampton made them look average, not one shot at goal, the defence is poor, let a decent attacking team get hold of them and rip them apart, may it continue.
