With you Este that whole trilogy of movies were fantastic. Ennio Morricone music in them was amazing.

 

Not seen many Western maybe an age thing but the remake of 3.10 to Yuma isn't to shabby

 

I think the young gun just had a pop at us old guns.....

 

Worst fil ever. Pretty Woman, never forgiven Julia Roberts and can't watch in anything since.

Good call,awfull film,
Wolves you must watch the weterns,bad guys cant shoot,their horses are really slow etc,lol.

Four weddings and a funeral ran it close. I'm still convinced the hooker gave Hugh Grant a bj rather than be forced to watch it.

If you can get it, watch Hang'em High with Clint Eastwood.

 

Talking of Roberts, I hated Hook.

 

Berry got a Razzie for that film and actually went and gave an acceptance speech

 

Fair play to her for the self parody, but I'd rather the film just not been made in the first place

 

For families/kids:

Classics:
Zulu, Italian Job, The Great Escape, The Longest Day, Battle of the Bulge, 12 Angry Men, The Graduate, The African Queen, A Bridge too far

Good stuff:
The Matrix, Apocalypse Now, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Bladerunner, Guardians of the Galaxy, Kick-Ass, Saving Private Ryan, Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Jaws, Terminator, Starship Troopers

Things that the director should be hung for:
Skyfall, Avengers Assemble, Disaster Movie, Battlefield Earth, Catwoman (obviously), The Last Airbender, Jack and Jill and in fact any Adam Sandler film other than Happy Gilmore.

Ah, so we're now posting good films, are we? That being the case, I cannot believe that The Battle of Britain or The Dam Busters have not been mentioned in dispatches. 2 of the few great war movies where the US didn't save the world!
