    I think there's many of us who would rather have signed Deeney than Hernandez.

    Bruce is probably one of them now.

    I don't recall many posts on that theme after the Everton match?????
    How about a new thread........Why didn't we sign Charlie Austin?
    or Why DID we insist on a through medical for Austin, after all the Bullard injury was just a one-off wasn't it?

    Not signing Austin was a mistake, but only in hindsight, it was a perfectly reasonable decision at the time.

    Dozens of people on here(possibly hundreds), wanted us to sign Deeney in the summer, I think you'll find that's not hindsight.
