Whickam is not good enough to play for a premiership side. He is slow , predictable and lacks basic craft. He doesnt shoot when it is crying out for the shot and does shoot when hes 20 yards out and his shots trickle through to the goalie. I believe that we have some good players who under a more expansive system would win games but we dont start to play until we are either behind or down to 10 men like today and against city. What happened to the old rule that when you are away from home you have to soak up a lot of pressure from the home team before you are allowed to play. After 20 minutes or so the game settles and you come into your own. We pose absolutely no threat so we come under immediate pressure. Teams know that we are more intent on stopping opposition scoring than attempting to win a game. Irrespective of .my thoughts i think Gus is one defeat away from the sack. I have just watched Crystal Palace and Spurs. Alongside us Palace look like a top 4 team. Vision, Speed, movement and desire. All things which we lack. I thought Graham looked sharp and did more in his first 5 minutes than Whickam did in 74. I agree Gus it isnt working, now manage. Give us a system which suits the players not the manager. I honestly think he has lost the dressing room.

Seems to have generated quite a lot of debate which is what I have been aiming for..After all, we get articles criticising the players, the owner and the manager every single day of the week. And it is my view that once we admit that there is a problem we can then look at ways of solving it... PS..It was you who started with the insults, so I was just responding in kind..
