Just based on what we have seen, are the main 14 signings we brought in this season a hit or miss? Marco Silvestri - Miss Giuseppe Bellusci - Hit Gaetano Berardi - Miss Liam Cooper - Hit Dario Del Fabro - Miss Žan Benedičič - Miss Tommaso Bianchi - Miss Casper Sloth - Miss Mirko Antenucci - Miss Souleymane Doukara - Miss Brian Montenegro - Miss Adryan - Miss Nicky Ajose - Miss Billy Sharp - Miss Yes sorry to say two hits, can't say any of the strikers are better than Ross and Smith, I don't see any of the midfield being any better than what we already had/have at our disposal. I am basing Silvestri on Butland and Kenny at the start of the season and as we haven't seen enough of Sloth and a few others there is no alternative but to say a miss. For me the two centre backs have been the only improvement on last season and our league position at least backs up my thoughts on this.
Think we've heard this from you before, ad nauseam, so no point in giving the same detailed reply once more. You're entitled to your opinion, but does it have to be in almost every thread?
Point taken, just ignore it then, truth is I tried to do a multiple poll including each player and I couldn't do it. I wondered if peoples opinions had changed after two wins in 17 games and sliding down the table
A fair point. Can you also express it to those who have an opinion more closely aligned with your own. Please.
Ristac I enjoy reading your posts you always give a good honest opinion optimistic to start with when Cellino arrived and now you can see clearly what others refuse to see, the league table backs you 100% enough said Millwall are in the same ****e (again) i could rant and rave all day about it but i always try to laugh and cry about it in a banterish way you have to or you will just end up going fooking nuts mukka lighten up a bit its only a game
I think if we had a better coach/manager most of those would be hits just an opinion, so take it easy you grumpy ****ers
He is trying to enlighten the happy clappies on here, you and your lot know you are ****e and anything else is a bonus so witty banter is a good way to deflect some of the angst. Here some still think we are in a false position.
A manager of any sort would be better. When Cellino gets kicked out on Thursday the **** will really hit the fan.
Cellino won't get kicked out on Thursday Glory, the bent ****s at the FL may think they've won, but they won't have
By the time the hearing ends he will be kicked out until March, and on the clear understanding that WHEN the eyties find him guilty of the second tax fiddle/ yacht scam he will be out for good.
LOL. It was a genuine question, Glory. I'll settle for that. But I do a good depressive too, you know! Can't have you thinking I'm a one trick pony. Think the reason I cope more than most is that I've supported Partick Thistle all of my life, and apart from the occasional blip, it's consistently been bad news all the time. Supporting Leeds is a doddle, by comparison. I wasn't a happy chappie when the Jags & Leeds both got relegated in the same season, Didn't even have the Scotland team to show the occasional glint of optimism either, as Bertie Volks was dragging us further down than we ever thought possible. We already thought we'd scraped the barrel until he took over. So believe me guys, it could be a lot worse. A lot! At least we're still in with a chance! (of survival).
I agree with what you are saying apart from the lighten up part, no disrespect to Millwall and I honestly mean that but Leeds fans should be expecting a lot more. A one city club, big gates (when you consider which end of the table we are at) yet some on here are happy if we are above Millwall. I don't mind the banter with Millwall fans, I don't get involved with it, all part of the fun but my highlight of the season isn't on if we are higher than Millwall. I wouldn't be half as opinionated on here if there was more balance, I think the only optimistic Leeds fans left on this planet have been rounded up and thrown onto this forum, there is even a thread suggesting we might make the play off spots this season, you couldn't make it up. I respect other peoples opinions but I do wonder at times just how much heart they have over head. As for me being constantly negative you have to admit, with a neutral hat on, Bates, GFH, Cellino - it doesn't get much worse than those three owners one after the other, seriously could it be worse, 12 years of poor management from the very top...
