maybe the players could think about this as well before they react to criticism warranted or unwarranted

True enough Kiwi. I suppose it's heat of the moment stuff from both sides but it feels like an implosion to me and we'll do well to rebuild our meandering season from here.

I actually thought this was one of our better away performances, and would have taken at least a point if it wasn't for 2 individual errors.
Until late on Green had very little to do, and Heaton made a couple of top class saves. I'm with Swords in thinking Fer played quite well, and would single out Barton and Caulker for being exceptionally poor. Didn't even know anything happened at the end until someone mentioned it on the train back.

If you look at the first posts I put in this thread, you'll see that I criticise the players for reacting to anything. I'm not saying fans don't have the right to be pissed off. Although my annoyance is more directed at Harry and much less at the players.

But I'm sorry if I'm a bit old fashioned but I just don't condone abuse. Telling a player he was useless, that his performance was rubbish, etc... I can see that. But going over the line and turning it into personal abuse is a bit too far. I think we've come to consider this kind of abuse as normal and justified because footballers "deserve it" somehow. Do you deserve it if you don't do your job properly at work? I'm not asking if you deserve criticism. I mean... what if you did badly at work one day and then someone gave you a bucket load of personal abuse... it's like you're saying I'm morally wrong for suggesting that we should respect each other as human beings... because footballers aren't real people... their our slaves and have to serve us...?

    Completely agree with this.
Fer seems to me to be a classic QPR No10. Trouble is, he isn't played there plus we can't afford any passengers.

You need to sort this out before you lose your home support too.

You can tell Leicester have managed to win a game of football. The moment they do they all come one here gloating, thinking they're world beaters. Now that they've sneaked a jammy win, hopefully they're not due to win another game for a couple of months or so and they can all f**k off back to their board.

Miami Fox and AKCJ are just trolls looking for a rise. They only come on here when they win or we don't do well. Says it all really. My opinion of all trolls is that they have to go looking for/cause trouble cos they sadly have something missing in life. Also how many of these internet trolls have the bottle to say what they type to someone's face. It's easy to wind people up from behind a keyboard. Low life scum, that's all they are. Still, at least they aren't Chelski fans. The only credit I'd give those two is they can't be accused of being plastics. Other than that, I have more respect for the cat **** on my shoe. Oh and by the way I'm talking about them not to them.

The thing I've noticed most is when other teams are in the ****, their fans seems to rally and realise the team need support more than ever, our fans just seem to implode and go about having a go at just about anything and anyone.

Maybe because our players should be performing to a higher level and consistency, we certainly have more experience than most of the teams in the bottom half and that should count for something.

But one thing's for sure, if the fans are going to get on the players backs at a time like this, then we are probably going to get relegated. I do understand the frustration, no one wants to spend a fortune and go travelling up and down the country to see us lose every week, but if that is how it makes you feel then just don't go.

Our team are quiet clearly low in confidence and creating a situation like we've seen yesterday is certainly not going to help them. Some might feel they don't deserve any support or sympathy after yesterday and the weeks before, but that really is what supporting comes down to, win lose or draw you support them team. If you don't like the results then you've backed the wrong horse.

We are in the ****! We can either be a contributing factor in our own demise by making the players feel **** and unappreciated, or we make a difference in the hope it draws a response in the players and makes a difference. I know which side I sit on.

I went to the game and shouted and cheered for the team. I gave up time and money and got cold and threatened by Millwall fans on the way home. But I showed support. Did not boo the team. Watched the team slunk off the train being jeered by their own travelling fans at Euston at 09.00 pm at night. Some of the team - Fer particularly - just did not try hard. Did not run for ball. Heads down. Some just punted the ball upfield - no care to pass to a team mate. Is this the team or the lack of leadership on the pitch or in the stand.

If at work - my team does not achieve - are they all losers? Is it my job as management to do something? My CUSTOMERS - have every right to tell me what they think of my product / service and they do.

I appreciate that lala, but at work you're paid to do a job, as a supporter it's your choice. You might not like going away and seeing us lose, but you have the choice to not go.

I know we all deserve better from the team, TF deserves better for his investment, but the fact is we have made our choice to support QPR and if you've supported them as long as I have you know that you don't get a great return for your choice of investment. But thems the facts, take it or leave it. But by it's very definition, support means support. Their isn't a definition that says you can do it half heartedly if you've spent money supporting.

And please appreciate that I know there are supporters who do support, don't get on the teams back and will be there through thick and thin, I know this is quiet a sweeping statement and I don't include those who do support. I'm just aiming at people like those idiots yesterday, as frustrated as they may have been, their actions could make the players turn on the fans in that they decide they don't want to be here. Where does that leave the club? The rest of us supporters? The players that do want to be here? In the ****!

Been saying this to Rangers fans for years. If they got behind their team through thick and thin like Swansea you would see more results

Sometimes passion running high produces results. I'm fully expecting a spirited and gutsy display against United. Had they not lost today, and thus requiring their own response, I was daring to imagine a draw on Saturday. I can't really see that now.

As to fans booing, we've discussed that ad nauseam here. Those that never do and never will (me) continue in that stance and others exercise the right to boo. Neither are likely to change their position.
