Oh I agree. I just really hope BR finally sees it. Not holding out much hope. By the way, Borini has been very good today, much more from him than I've seen of Lambert/Balotelli, although I'd quite like to see us play Balo and Borini up top together today.
I would like to see Markovic moved forward and bring Manquillo on for Gerrard. We desperately need a 2nd goal, we won't win this 1-0.
Hopefull Borini catches a whiff of the nearest Bella Pasta to the ground and disappears there so he can't play the second half
You must be joking. Every attack we've had has pretty much gone through him. Gerrard has been next to useless again.
Good performance so far from everyone. Lucas and Gerrard not next to each other is always the basis of a good team and Gerrard is so much better up the pitch out the way where his stamina/pace isn't a hindrance. I know it's popular to say Borini isn't good enough, but his movement and workrate is exactly what we need up front - more so than Lambert or the 'enigma' and 'potentially world class' Balotelli.
well half time: my view: Sunderland are playing awfully poor. They are not hurting us, pressing us or doing much of anything. even looking at wimbledon they should know a high press kills us.... perhaps they were playing against the massive wind and watned to sit in for the half. 1-0 agasint a big wind against a team who'd love to lump it long may not be enough but LFc have hit the post twice... one would have been goal of the month, the other ruled off for hand ball... gerrard had two more efforts and borini one as well. All in all you cannot say anyhting but dominant from LFC. Sunderland are their own worst enemy... my 1-1 is still possible though.... I wish it was 3-0 right now.
