some nice you tube footage there of salah, but i`m sure you`ll find exactly the same with the likes of ben arfa, if he does come will be a crowd favourite with the tricks, lets hope he has an end product and little more desire then the afore mentioned chappy !
BOCA TARGET RAMIREZ An interesting line from Argentina, where Boca Juniors secretary Cesar Martucci has said that the club want to sign Hull City’s Gaston Ramirez. The Uruguayan is on loan with the Tigers until the end of the season but Boca head coach Rodolfo Arruabarrena is keen to bring him back to South America ahead of the Copa America this summer. “Arruabarrena has asked us to start negotiations with Hull City for Ramirez because he thinks the player fits perfectly in what he wants for the team,” Martucci told radio station A Todo Boca. “We know that Ramirez wants and needs to be near the national team of Uruguay. We know that negotiations will be very hard, but we are going to do all that is possible to have him playing at Boca.” Strange one.
Isnt the loan canceled if they purchase him? Or can they not purchase him if we paid a fee and thats why they would need to negotiate with us (and Southampton) for him?
I found the rule (rule 6.6.3), they dont need to negotiate with us. All they have to do is purchase him from Southampton and he is recalled and goes to Boca. "A Player on Long Term Loan may not be recalled, except for a goalkeeper or where the Player is to be transferred permanently by the Club (or club) holding his registered contract. A Player other than a goalkeeper so recalled cannot be permitted to play for the Club (or club) holding his registration after such recall until the end of the Playing Season. Players so recalled can only be replaced by a further Long Term Loan with permission from the Company. Long Term Loan Transfers will not count against the number of Short Term Loan Transfers."
Why would we simply settle for half the loan fee when it's going to weaken our side? And, in other news, wtf is 'commence sense'?
Because we've paid for a years loan, but we only used the player for half a year. It was more a direction.
I believe we have tried to sign/loan three strikers (not altogether) out of about half a dozen available which is more than a quarter Tuck. I am hoping that Jelly and Abel can stay injury free but that is gravely doubtful going on their history this season. We have been plagued with injuries to our key players which is why we are up to our bottom lips in diarrhea. All the opposition has to do is make a few waves and we're sunk!
It depends, if Boca want the transfer instantly they'd have to compensate us, in which case Southampton would cancel it and he'd head to Argentina. If they weren't that arsed and wanted him in May, they could sort a contract out now, have it all sorted and get Ramirez in the Summer, with us keeping him for the rest of his loan spell. He would then return to Southampton for about 5 mins and then offically become a Boca player.
Can't see Ramirez leaving, who would buy an injured player?! ...it says on sky sports we have entered advanced talks with Arsenal about a loan move for sanogo! (yipee)
If your signing a player for three years, it hardly matters if he's injured for the first three weeks.
