http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30516598 HIT or MISS Some interesting reading. He clearly doesn't watch much of Liverpool based on this. Manquillo a MISS because "he wasn't convincing and lost his place to GJ", who we all know is Rodgers favourite little defender. Can a MISS because "there are several opportunities to get into Liverpool's midfield but he is another who has failed to take them.... Steven Gerrard is still their best midfielder" Pretty much sums up what we all knew, Savage is a ****ing moron.
This is about a month old. Anyway, yeah bar one or two he was right though, generally terrible signings.
"He has been decent in the last couple of games and has just started to play well. A miss if you judge him up until the start of December, but showing signs of starting to justify his fee. VERDICT: MISS" The text is still pretty accurate to be fair. Would you say he's a hit for 20 million yet?
Its only accurate if you think he needs to prove his worth in a 4 month period rather than over his whole career at Liverpool... This article is something I'd expect off a rival fan on twitter, not the BBC website.
I'd say the text is accurate - he started off slow and is coming into form. Of course I agree with your point though. That said, you may well get an inkling in the first 4 months whether or not he's going to live up to his 20 million price tag.
It's rent-a -hairstyle Robbie Savage. Don't expect an in-depth, perceptive analysis. How these people ever get the job is beyond me.
Robbie Savage is a dick. A likeable dick sometimes, but a dick nonetheless. If he occasionally says something accurate, well that's just a statistical coincidence. It would take someone of real genius to be wrong all the time.
I am very happy with BRs signings so far. Hopefully you get Delph and Berahino in this window for 25 million each
