Rangers head into the clash in Lancashire in 16th place, some two points and three places better off than Sean Dyche’s Clarets. The two sides, of course, met in Premier League action just last month, when goals from Leroy Fer and former Clarets old-boy Charlie Austin – who was later sent off for two bookable offences – clinched a 2-0 victory for the R’s at Loftus Road. That win is likely to count for nothing this weekend, however. Burnley head into the ‘six pointer’ off the back of a run of three games without defeat, whilst Rangers will be keen to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield United in the FA Cup on Sunday. Harry Redknapp confirmed yesterday that Adel Taarabt is likely to be included in the squad, whilst loan Ranger Mauro Zarate could make his QPR debut following his switch from West Ham United earlier this week. Niko Kranjcar has resumed full training following a recent minor injury and is likely to be in the Rangers squad for the trip to Turf Moor. For Burnley, Jason Shackell is expected to return from a calf injury at the heart of the Clarets defence, but Kevin Long and Stephen Ward remain sidelined long-term. Will Zarate actually start or will he be on the bench? just thinking that he hasn't played much football of late.
the old eyes must be playing up this morning cause I thought the reflection makes natalie look like a drag queen must see if I can find some eye drops nice thread as usual 9s
Team for tomorrow: Green Isla Dunne Caulker Hill Vargas Henry Barton Fer Austin Zamora Zarate (and his mrs) on the bench, replacing OBZ with 30 mins left.
Looking at both those "ladies" all i could think of was, "you spin you me right round baby right round …."
If he (Zarate) is really buzzing, then yes, but I think that he would be a good impact sub. Starting him might just be a little bit of "we need to change things" and that is not good for morale. Col, I really hope that he is going to pull up trees, but we've got half a season left.
When will QPR win their first away Premier League Match of season? Selection Odds 23/10 Burnley 4/1 Stoke 9/2 Sunderland 11/2 Hull 7/1 Crystal Palace 9/1 No Away Win in the 2014/15 Season 10/1 West Brom 16/1 Aston Villa 16/1 Leicester 33/1 Liverpool 100/1 Man City
Many thanks Mr 9's. Another top match thread, much appreciated. Now lets hope it's one of those rare ones with a good result. Come on U R's!!!
