If it was rape. The bird was so pissed the whole affair is flawed.
I actually think Giggs is worse because he did it over many years. Daft lad Ched did (or maybe didn't) do it once. Regardless, he has served his sentence so he should be allowed to take up employment again.

    Totally agree Billy

This whole case stinks to high heaven and it saddens me that mob rule wins again. What does this say about where our society is going?

Like Taylor bring crucified today for making a badly worded point about comparing this case with Hilsborough. You'd think he'd just buggered a kid in Trafalgar Square at mid-day in front of a crowd of nuns for ****s sake! Everyone is going to be so scared of opening their mouths soon just to make a point about whatever, we are soon going to be a totally emasculated society, victim to any poor bedroom tosser troll!

To totally misquote the famous phrase, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

"If a promiscuous woman is so drunk she doesn't know she's had sex how can it be rape?"

My take on the whole thing, not that anyone cares, is as follows:

    1. Ched Evans is a **** but not a rapist.
    2. His missus is a money-grabbing skank with no self respect.
    3. The lass he shagged is a money-grabbing lowlife slut.
    4. The legal system in Britain is ****ed beyond belief.
    5. I couldn't really care less due to points 1, 2, and 3.

Pretty much agree but I can't moralise on point one because I've been a right twat in the past although not in the same way.

No he hasn't he's out on good behaviour, he's still serving his sentence under different conditions.

You're welcome to think Giggs is worse by all accounts, but let's be honest about who's position is actually worse, Ched is a rapist.

Stories emerging that Ched Evans has turned down a contract offer from Newcastle United, over fears it will harm his reputation.

"but bear in mind that the guy was convicted by a jury, who would have sat and listened/viewed all the evidence."

Also sentenced by the judge who had listen to the case. The sentence in the judges mind fitted the crime, he served it so now he should not be punished further. It works both ways.

As for the case, I find it strange? you have to be found guilty beyond reasonable doubt? it sounds like there was a lot of reasonable doubt in this case, I can see him winning his appeal, which would be a terrible thing for the justice system.
