UTR's that's terrible what happened your friend. My condolences.

But I'm with Wats on this one. Some young girls go out and get bladdered these days and go off with blokes and the following day they haven't a clue what went on the night before. There's an awful lot of that behaviour going on. I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened in this case. A lot of them do themselves no favours by getting into these dangerous situations with strangers in the first place.

I know I should feel it but I find it hard to muster a lot of sympathy for people who are the victims as much of their own carelessness as anything else.

 

I do see your point Swords but let's put it this way shall we. He has been convicted in a court of law and sentenced. He done a bit of time but he is still a convicted rapist

If he does appeal then fair play to him, if the conviction is overturned and new evidence arrives to support his innocence then good for him. At this very moment he is a rapist and can stay the f**k away from the club I support.

I'm not arguing that there is no woman that try to do this. If I was innocent of a crime I did not commit I would make my life's mission to be proven innocent and have my good name cleared!

I feel for your friend UTR, there would be an uproar if ever he was linked to us god forbid, think Harry should have butted out of question as too many involved, can't see Evans playing over here again.

 

Cheers Swords and I would also like to apologize if I got a little emotional with my reply to this, I don't and never will have any beef with you mate.

Being that I have seen 1st hand how something like this can completely screw up someones life up you can appreciate where I'm coming from.

I will admit that I knew nothing about this particular case. It was being talked about at work today and I now understand that some tabloids have been reporting that it was a stitch up.

I will stand by what I say until he has been proven in a court of law his innocence.

 

Perhaps because he now has a reputation for providing answers. But what's the point of mumbling a few poorly articulated remarks on things which are nothing to do with our club? Best case scenario: a boring, meaningless answer. Worst case: pissing people off by saying something which adds to the controversy.

In Redknapp's position, if asked about a controversial football-related but non-QPR-related news item, my answer would always be along the lines of: "We're here to talk about QPR. So I have no comment to make."

 

But where would the fun be in that?

 

Yes, perish the thought that our team could be managed by someone who doesn't come across as a bumbling idiot.
