Sad I would of tried him a lot more than Harold has in a number of positions. he has the ability without doubt IMO but just needs games and confidence. Can't blame any player that harold doesn't pick IMO
Look at Sandro FFS yet Henry remains our best player this season 2nd is Charlie IMO

Bro? I now have an image of you wearing jeans which display most of your calvins and have a crotch at ankle level. Blud.

For me, it's the fact that the wages must put him about the highest at the club and yet his lack of appearances or productivity is OK because he does alright in training. Cesar would have at least trained but got frozen out completely too but SWP is a terrific lad so should possibly tootle off with our thanks for blessing our training ground with so much wonderful effort. It's scant consolation considering the financial pickle we're in.

As for the Ched Evans comments, why did he need to speak at all? He distracts from what he and the team should be doing and invites more dumb questions from the journalists (expect it to be about winds buffeting Scotland next time). He's so poorly placed to make any kind of comment anyway. He made the laughable comment "a terrific mistake" that Evans had made (for me, a terrific mistake would be buying a ticket to the wrong lottery draw and winning the one you ended up in). I had decided that it might be an amalgamation of terrible and horrific and was actually going to create an Arry does Newspeak post but Stan (curse him) mentioned an Orwellian analogy in another post so burst my bubble.

He doesn't say anything meaningful would be my biggest problem and his inane drivel is usually off-topic and attracts more negative publicity our way.

Fair enough. I find him entertaining.

That "terrific mistake" thing for example. It annoyed you yet I found it funny and kind of endearing.

I'm very fond of old 'Arry but to each his own I suppose

I'm sure i remember reading that his wages we're ONLY £45,000 a week, surely it wasnt 70,000 ..we wouldnt of given him that much ???? Barton is meant to be on 65 isnt he ? SWP wouldnt of got more than him ?? Great goal v chelsea but overall disappointing really

I of course had this in mind on this occasion.. Especially as this forum only allows you to jump to two threads at a time. But hey, there you go! I initially thought that the only posters who would take umbrage to my post were the ones who thought SWP would be a good signing. How did you fare?

Not too sure about me, I didn't have the balls to view them all. I think that I thought he'd be ****e, I hope that I'm right. I do know that Col thought he would be good for us though, so that is worth a chuckle for my efforts alone. Good old Col, He'll take it on the chin I'm sure. It'd would be great to have a crystal ball in relation to all our signings. I think we missed a trick with SWP and Puncheon.

I do know that I felt that he would come good at some point. How wrong I was, regardless of the goal v Chelsea.

Good on you 9's, for calling yourself out.

I'm not sure if I posted about it - and I've not reviewed the threads - but I think at the time I thought it'd be a decent signing...

    How wrong I was!!

Most people thought Chris Samba would be good for us.

It seems that players who have performed well elsewhere turn to ****e when they turn up here!

I've said it before, COL has a very poor eye for a player. But he's got the best football brain on the Site. Wouldn't make a Manager but would make a fantastic Coach.
