From what I've seen he looks average, he hasn't looked anywhere near good enough for the Arsenal first team and I haven't seen anything to suggest he'd be good enough for ours either. Suppose he'd be alright as an impact sub off the bench, but I don't think Wenger would send him here if we didn't guarantee him game time. Wilson would be a better option, if Van Gaal would allow it.
What we really need is a decent midfield that can get the ball to our strikers and then we might be able to score a little more often. Our midfield is cack this season, complete opposite to what it was last season
agreed! the other problem is that playing for arsenal you are surely going to score more goals because of the creative talents around you, if you can't score for arsenal your going to struggle scoring for Hull! (no offence)
this would be a great signing, think we are a better decision than QPR or Leicester for him as he will get more game time, he knows three of our players and he won't be wanting a relegation battle at leicester as they are in the thick of it especially with the squad they have!
Fully agree, on the basis that if he comes he doesn't stipulate in his contract that his old mate Thudd is an automatic first eleven choice!
Wenger has just said that he's decided to keep Joel Campbell in the Arsenal first team and they're no longer considering loan approaches, so that's one off the list.
Palace are hoping to agree a £1.5m fee for Bolton AM Chung-Yong Lee, who we were linked with over the Summer. I really rate him and if that's the price he's available for, we should be in for him.
