Seen that Cardiff City owner is now considering returning to the traditional blue home kit for next season! Dare we dream?
I like the quote from their chairman: "I think he will give this a great deal of consideration. He is a strong individual and only strong people can make these type of decisions. Only weak people will stick to their stubbornness. Only strong people can lead this way and I think he will listen and he will consider."
good point, imagine if our owner did that? Shame PLT and other children will still be calling for AAs head cos 'he changed his mind' which (in fairness) is exactly what they wanted.
Dunno about that. It's a big man who stands up and admits he was wrong. After all his decision was only based on superstition, and when you consider the alarming rate, planes from his part of the world fall out of the sky with lucky red logos on them, maybe it's time for a change. It's one thing to consider it, another to actually do it. Good luck to the sheep fanciers on this one.
Bloody hell, that's a statement of nill options, either Tan reconsiders and changes his position and 'stops being weak and sticking to his stubbornness', or their relationship is gonna have a real cul-de-zac moment.
Tan is due to make a decision today, let's hope common sense prevails and it sends out a message to other bonkers club owners that ****ing with a teams heritage for absolutely no good reason isn't a good idea.
If AA changed his decision then I think alot of people would be happy to move on and forget the whole thing, no matter what your views are on our owner, their is no denying it, he has supported SB in the funding of some superb signings.
perhaps, maybe, but personally I think its all gone too far for that. He has funded SB no doubt about it, but Im afraid for me the insults against the fans will never be forgotten.
If he issued a statement along the lines of: 'I'm changing the shirt colour back to blue, I anticipated the red shirts would bring interest and revenue from abroad, this hasn't been the case so I'm restoring the clubs heritage. I apologise to the fans who were upset by this initially but note I was only acting with the clubs best interests at heart.' He'd be forgiven and the fans would accept him again, I takes a big man to admit when their wrong.
CTWD has ceased to exist, so there are no members, paid up or otherwise of that organisation. So yeah, that'd be a cheap option
