We won't get a penny for Sagbo, we'll be doing well to just get him off the wage bill.

you can't really go on his stoke record! pulis is hardly known at getting his team to be goalscorers plus as you say he was always on the bench!...he's older now too, so will of learnt alot more playing 90 mins for various clubs. I dont think you understand that for £3mill you wont get many players with the abilty of him! he seems to know how to keep possession of the ball aswell, which jela and hernandez lack!

I'm sure Celtic have agreed a deal to sign Guidetti in the summer, so that is a no go. Bruce won't be given much money, obviously there is on loan space which I can imagine will be filled, if we get rid of Sagbo and Fig we may have a little bit of money in the pot, as well as 2 players wages going out.

I wasn't suggesting he lacked ability, simply that he spent time at a PL club, half a season in fact and could only muster 6 sub appearances. It was in fact Mark Hughes that signed him, who clearly knows a thing or two about goalscorers. I agree that for £3m, it's a good deal, but I think he'll opt to stay at Celtic rather than warm the bench here (he won't get in ahead of Abel or Jelavic).

He's a creative midfielder, so it makes sense.

He can play anywhere behind the striker, according to my mate, a lifelong wolves fan. He said they'd be gutted to see him go, but apparently he has a release clause in his contract to top division teams. £3.9m or something to that effect. I'd certainly have him, but I dont know if Mali have qualified for the ACoN.

Just checked, they have and he's in the squad.

I didn't buy him so I'm not worried. You lot know aswell as us how good Steve Walsh is at finding gems. He will have done his research and to nick him ahead of Chelsea and Juventus tells you this lad has some ability

And yes we need an instant return from him but we have a simaliar priced striker already who is scoring goals in Ulloa so that should take some pressure off him. If them 2 click and we sort our defence out I would fancy our chances of staying up

Ah right, I rated him very highly when we were in the Championship. Shame he's another left footer though, we need some more righties to balance things out.

I think a really good signing for you, he could do what Jelavic and Long did for us last season, just get you the goals to keep you up. I just hope that it is not at our expense.

True, but I dont think the type of foot you have necessarily dictates which side you have to play on.

Apparently Lampard is a full time city player, having no actual obligation to go to Ney york at any time

You keep mentioning this guy like he's something special, but he's managed just as many goals as Jelavic has this season in the league and hasn't exactly set the world alight. He struggled to get a deal at Watford a few years ago, I doubt we'll be interested. We're more likely to be after the other lad you keep mentioning, Wissam Ben Yedder.
