There's a shock! City are the richest club and as a result have the best lawyers. The disappointment for the Chelsea fans has to be the way in which Lampard was party to engineering a move to City whilst trying to make it look like an unforeseen outcome to an entirely different deal.
How unfortunate? Chelsea said they didn't want to extend his contract and gave him leave to sort out his future as best he sees it. I don't think there's one Chelsea fan here that isn't grateful for what Frank has done for this club. He has been a credit on and off the field with us and without us.
