Alreet fellas, cheers for all the well wishes, no sign of getting out of here soon i dont think, nurse just came in and gave me a random injection in the tummy to avoid dvt, ****ing knacking it is, taken over the pain of the leg for the time being, got my own room which is ok but so has bloody John next door, never seen him yet but he's 5'10", 82kgs used to smoke and worked down the ship yards, doesnt really eat but can drink tea for england, has a random visitor who forgets she's been and keeps popping her head in my room, and john likes to get a bit leary at 4am, as for the rest on this ward they have a combined age of 3,456,842 Ha'way the lads! This is a true story so anyone who questions it can get ******** I was in the very posh Park Hospital, Nottingham 3 years back and, during a 10 day stay, had various contracted 'care assistants' attend at night. One of them was a 19 year old black girl, who spoke basic English. I asked her what she was paid per hour and offered her twice that for 5 minutes work 'in hand'. She declined but, the next night, asked me if I was serious. I took out the cash and she went to work .... I'm sure her 'handiwork' assisted my recovery. The moral of the story is that 'if you don't ask you don't get'
