BBH is basically saying that Britain is a soft touch. He may well be right. Regardless of that though, why has this thread become a discussion on immigration and moved away from the twelve souls that lost their lives in Paris earlier? Is this what the posters on here want? I think that is something for another occasion. I don't feel that now is the time to allow this kind of sentiment to be addressed in this thread. Let's stick to Paris please. There are many football forums on here and elsewhere that wouldn't even allow this thread to get this far. Please respect that.
Why has this been a thread about ...... Like I said , how ? Where ? When can this possibly meet a peaceful end ? The infiltration and watering down of values is the tip of an ice berg .....
Well that's good news as he can't hurt anyone else now. I have the feeling that a lot of people would rather he'd be taken down in a hail of bullets though.
Any one with a brain would rather not know he has been caught , that way gives the secret spooky ****ers a chance to intercept his mates Tip Of Iceberg
As I said earlier. This thread relates to the twelve people that lost their lives and their perpetrators. Immigration and it's wider scale for better or worse is not going to be allowed to be discussed any further on here. I'm sorry if this does not suit you, but this is primarily a football forum and it particularly pertains to QPR. However we do allow 'Off-topic' threads on our board within reason from time to time. This thread has been allowed to run if it remains within its current parameters. If it strays too far away from this then I'll close it. There are other places on the internet where you can go that will accommodate your views and beliefs.
Btw guys ..... I'm not a new member , I'm a avid fan of not 606 been faithful From day one , first port of call always and respect all your views
I wondered how long it would take to get to this.... It did start earlier but died out...well done to those who carried on EDIT..As a new immigrant and citizen of a new country, i really do find those views hysterically funny, usually written by people with absolutely no f-ing clue #make it up as you go along

My final thought on this is that there appears to be one or two on this thread who are almost excusing this act of terrorism or at the very least they are suggesting that these cartoonists (cartoonists for ****'s sake!) went too far and should be censured in some way so that the sensibilities of those with more extreme views can't be offended. Almost along the lines of "don't poke the angry bear with a stick or he may bite your head off". Surely this is exactly what these terrorists are trying to achieve? They are trying to "terrorise" those who don't share their beliefs by carrying out these public shows of barbarism. Well, if those of you who think that we should bow down to these people for fear of being targeted, I say that this would be the end of free speech imo. I am against all terrorists of all colour, creed and religious persuasion (how many more lives will be lost in the name of an imaginary God?!!) Everyone has the right to believe any religion they so choose, as long as they do it in a peaceful way. And finally............how was it that the entire Monty Python team weren't gunned down after the making of "The life of Brian"? Christians were outraged and the film caused a massive outcry..............but no one decided to murder anyone over it!! I fear for the future of my kids in this ****ed up World!
That's a very clear and reasonable post Stan. I don't quite agree with it but it's a fair standpoint. I agree that the extremists are the most entrenched mindsets. I do think that there is a fine line between positively influencing the more open minded majority and making them feel marginalised. I'd also question if the cartoonists are the best placed people to make that call about the effects of their efforts (as provocateurs, I'd even say that a universally negative reaction is favoured irrespective of damage) if indeed there is any effect at all. I still believe that free speech is a myth and so I don't see what rights anyone is defending or upholding. There's always a line (that can be pushed and bent) that cannot be crossed. As for yourself, I don't think you're intolerant. Opinionated maybe but it takes one to know one. I do always respect your views irrespective of whether I agree with them though.
