You don't love. The sarcasm should have been loud and clear. And no, that doesn't mean I or anyone else does. We are all giving our opinions. Some may or may not be based on personal experiences but that is besides the point.
Like you I read the documents on the internet, but I did it because of debates on City Independent rather than general interest. My starting point was why did the jury find him guilty and not MacDonald. MacDonald shows that two adults shagging in an hotel room isn't rape if there is consent or a reasonable impression that consent was given. She went to the room willing with him and couldn't remember saying yes or, more importantly for MacDonald, no. I think we may agree a fairly common sense verdict. There is no similar evidence to support Ched Evans claim she consented or even knew he was in the room. He just appeared, had sex and disappeared. The jury will have seen all the CCTV and camera footage and seen him give evidence. That convinced them to find MacDonald innocent and Evans guilty. The same people. Now if she was too pissed to consent when Evans turned up the verdict supports the definition of consent and the legal system works. She may have been pissed when she had sex with MacDonald but she'd bumped into him, got in a taxi with him, walked into a hotel, went to the room and had sex, all of which implies consent. More importantly she didn't know if she said no, the inference being she didn't. I think MacDonald shows that the vast majority of young men can safely have consensual sex on a night out and the rape convictions figures support that.
Do we or is that a broad-brush remark? Are there women out there with scant regard for this girl and how this has proceeded?
You are showing how little you understand the subject so you're trying to trivialise this case because you don't agree with the verdict. I havs personal knowledge of victims of sexual violence. I speak to 3 almost daily. Others less frequently. You know nothing. Please be quiet now Lily. You're looking like a right twat. No wonder your board is empty
So should mine. Seems you missed it. Mine was in response to yours. Try and keep up. Be a good boy and stop calling me love. Some are opinions
Lets not score points on this subject eh? You dont know tobes or what experiences he has with this subject. Nor do you know me or anyone one else on here (at a guess of course).
I agree that her character does her little favour, same with Evans. I have some sympathy for MacDonald who seems to have seen his career plummet since the trial and I believe he didn't rape her and his verdict was right. He seems to be the forgotten man in all this. I can see why they convicted Evans because there is little or no evidence of consent and on what I've read I'd most probably have found him guilty. I can't say that for certain as all the evidence isn't on the net, or if it is I can't find it. I would say the way she's been pursued by supporters of Evans is likely to have caused her more damage then what happened that night but people react to traumas in different ways.
I know, the sums and injury I describe actually happened about five years ago. It was two teeth - it cost £1,500 to have them fixed and nothing to fix his attackers, later
I was asked a question. I answered and get accused of point scoring because I can back up what I'm saying. Seriously? Jog on sweetheart.
Nail, Nail, head, hit. If you sneak into a drunk persons room and have sex with them, you`re on dodgy ground.
I understand this subject very well you ignoramus, due to close family experience, so yet more bullshit assumption from you. I'm beyond bored of wasting my time conversing with some pig ignorant teenage grot, so I'm out love.
