That's what I don't understand, if she says she can't remember giving consent then how can she know she didn't?
I still don't understand how the other footballer got away with it, he had sex with her first, surely she was more likely to be under the influence of alcohol then when Evans "Had a go on her" after him?
The think that annoys me is people saying he hasn't showed any remorse. But if he thinks he's not guilty why should he?
People also keep saying he should tell people not to give the woman abuse, if he is saying she has accused him of raping her when he didn't I think the amount of anger and hate he must feel towards her is huge, he's not going to protect her from abuse. His life will never be the same again, and in his eyes that is down to her lies.
She never accused him of raping her. So maybe he should be direct his 'hate' towards those who did if he feels he is innocent. Also the jury found him guilty as did the appeal judges. He could have a go at them too. Seems like the victim in this (the girl) is being made the guilty party and Chedwyn is now being portrayed as the victim. Seems his PR is actually working fine to me.
She went along with as soon as the Police brought the charge, she also tweeted that she was about "to win big" after the case was announced. She could have called a halt to it at any point, but she maintained her "I can't remember" stance throughout. She's also accused another man of rape who was found innocent btw.
Not being funny but if the Police told someone they thought they had been the victim of rape and the evidence suggested as much then why would she not 'go along with it'? Why would anyone not go along with it. Did you expect her to say 'ah well yeah let's just not bother'? Her 'I can't remember' stance being like the blackouts that she had had before? The same ones that the defence agreed she'd had? This tweet? Where is it? As her identity is secret then how do you know what she tweeted? Did one of the internet trolls that have hounded her show you it? Linky please to the other man she has accused of rape? Again how do you know this as her identity is secret? Like I've said Chedwyns PR is working just fine.
What evidence? She can't remember anything, there is no physical or D.N.A evidence, in fact the only way they can prove they had sex is because the two defendants admitted to it. Do you think they would have admitted to it if they had actually raped her, knowing full well without their admission a conviction would be much less likely? The case is ambiguous, but a jury has made a decision and unless that's overturned its final, no point debating ifs and buts without knowing all the facts.
