"Sky Sources" so Twitter is saying that the lad will be available for £20m I reckon he's shown enough now to merit that price tag when you like at the mad fees Liverpool paid for Lallana or United paid for Shaw.

Reckon he'd be a great acquisition for Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs.

Got me thinking... Not that it will happen by any stretch of the imagination... What would our side be like with a killer forward like Berahino leading the line? Where would we be now if he'd been playing for us since the start of the season? What sort of football would we be playing with someone competent up front?

We need a forward. We need rid of Danny Graham and Jozy Altidore and for Wickham and Fletch to become rotational players. Come on Lee, surprise us.

In terms of goalscorers thats available your going to struggle really

Think they just got lucky in terms of a kid coming through the youth system

They were Fortune with Lakaku as well before that, its time they had our luck with strikers and we had theirs.

Pulls needs to rebuild that squad and the funds from his sale are the only way possible. Not even the Pulis type, a big target man is what he wants.

Berahino scored 4 goals the other day in an FA Cup game and didn't celebrate one of them. He's gone IMO.

Think he could be had for less than 20m, and he sure would look good on our side. We paid 13m for Gyan, we bid 13m for Fabio, why not somewhere in the neighborhood of 18m for this kid?

Problem is Liverpool, Chelsea and a couple of the other big boys are in the market for forwards. If they want him, we don't stand a chance.

Unrelated... Bony to City for £30. Think that's a clever signing personally. They've never had a strong target man similar to a Drogba.

I like Dzeko but he isn't it. Bony will give them a good option.

He'll be a beast there. Great signing.

No better than borini IMO. Nowhere near 20m worth. He's scored loads of penalties iirc. Would you pay £20m for borini? He also failed to score when playing against Mike Williamson FFS! Decent but nowhere near £20m worth

I don't rate him that highly.

Now Harry Kane, there's a player.

Watched him years ago at Leicester on loan, he was brilliant, very pleased for him

I think Berahino will go to Liverpool the transfer window, but only if they can get rid of Borini. Just watched last seasons DVD and the lad was great for us. I would offer 6m for him.

Not yet convinced, but if the dippers want him Borini might be offloaded on the cheap. Something in the £7-8m area would be good business, as long as his wage demands aren't stupid.

Berahino won't do anything at Liverpool, they have no shape or method to their football at all. He'd be a good fit alongside Kane at Spurs I reckon and there's probably one or two players Pulis would take from Spurs in exchange.

The kid needs bigger tests before we'll know how good he is. £20m is a risk unless there's unwanted players going the other way.

Must admit I was thinking the same think about Shaquiri... He'd be better off at Spurs.

Possibly mate, but he would be fighting for a position again which is fine as he has a lot of talent, but not when the manager is struggling to find his best 11. Wrong time for spurs for Shaqiri in my opinion.

Shaqiri would be great at Atletico Madrid I reckon.

Rodgers hasn't got a clue how to buy players, Sturridge aside he's been poor in the windows, that long haired chump he signed for £20m is shocking, at least he is under Branda... I can't help but remind myself what they all thought of him with a few games to go last season <laugh>

Some ITKs are saying Berahino to Liverpool (sorry Terry). Estimates are 12-15 mil.

I like him. Take him and day over Fabio. Yes, chaos is the order of the day in that system, but he and Sturridge and Sterling in a 4-3-3 would pay dividends.

Lambert gotta go somewhere. Don't know if Gus thinks he would fit.

I don't think he'll be a top player. As such, he'll go to Liverpool for an over inflated fee.

His attitude is lifting as well.

This whole thing is fascinating. Nobody seems to agree on this guy. Been sick in bed all day, and read more analysis than I care to admit. He's going somewhere, probably somewhere big, and, almost certainly for a lot of money. The way I look at it it is this...he ain't coming to Sunderland, so **** him!

He looks half decent mate, pace and a finisher, but we've seen a million and one like this burst on the scene.

He's up for drink driving I've just read as well, everything screams of a Ravel Morrison to me, talent, but an absolute knob end.

Top players at top clubs just won't stand for it, ability or not they will **** him off.

I maintain we should have a look at Alberto Paloschi, he'd fit in to the system and is at a tiny club, I reckon he'd be as high a calibre striker we could realistically buy.

    He's a 1 in 3 with a bit of finesse.

West Brom have allegedly offered him to Spurs wanting A.Lennon & A.Townsend in return.
Deffo think Pullis will cash in on the kid so as to boost his transfer kitty.
My thoughts on Berahino...?? = Flash in the Pan
