Agree with this. You will see Walcott tracking back to support the RB when we lose the ball. Walcott and Sagna played that role really well and I'd expect him to do likewise with Debuchy. Podolski offered basically **** all in terms of helping out his team mates. If the ball went to his left foot, then there's no better player to take on the shot, but other than that he was pretty ineffective. Would much rather have Walcott in my team any day of the week.
I was expecting so much more from the Pod but he ended up a bit of a flop. He never could fit into our system as a LW. Even when we were short in the CF department, he failed to make it there too. Wish him luck on his move though...

Some interesting comments from the Pod. I don't have any ill feeling towards him and it was probably in his best interest to leave. But it is strange why Wenger would blank him. It would be poor from Wenger if he did do this. Lukas Podolski has criticised the way he was treated by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger prior to his loan move to Inter Milan. That led to the German forward moving to Serie A on loan and he has hit out at what he sees as a lack of respect from Wenger on his departure. “He said nothing to me. He did not call or say goodbye,” Podolski said. “I don’t need flowers or a kiss from him. But it is about respect, about saying goodbye. For me, respect is important. I did everything for the club I possibly could have. I don’t believe I did anything wrong. I did not get drunk in a club. “(There was) nothing from him (Wenger) to me, but that is his way. He told me he did not want me to go just before the transfer window but never said anything else after that.”
