    Excellent signing imo.
I believe he can play the No10 role too.

Hope he really can show to Big Sam what he lost. I'd say about 7-12 until may will do just fine.

Hope he scores for fun. Some 8-12 goals until the end of the season will do just fine for me!

Well he won't get a chance to do that, will he? When did we last play with a number 10 role? Krancjar and Fer who could play it are stuck on the wing. Apparently Vargas can play it as well. And A.N. Other.

We play 4-4-2 at home and some kind of shapeless morass away.

To be honest, from the YouTube clip I saw of him banging in a lot of goals in Argentina last year, looks like he enjoys playing right up front, on the shoulder of the last defender. I guess he'll drop back when he realises he'll never see the ball in our team up there.

Well, whatever. We all agree that we needed another striker and we've got one, so I give the club credit for that.

Looks like he can play up front on his own too, which we desperately need. I just wish the media woud stop saying he's fallen behind Carlton Cole in the pecking order at West Ham.

He looks a far better player than Cole to me. I'd like to see him just in behind Austin.

Fantastic player. Sorry to be a bit of a party pooper but it's common knowledge that him and Vargas don't get along. Vargas was annoyed that Zarate switched allegiance to Chile, claiming that they didn't need him. All the sites I've looked at have the report in foreign, but search and you shall find.

That's disappointing, I hope they can put their differences aside while they jointly take on project rescue for the mighty R's!

He'll put in more effort than Taarabt. West Ham fans who want a reason to whine at Allardyce are using this loan as proof he's all long-ball and hates ball players, but the truth is he's behind in the pecking order because we have better players and players who will put in a shift. He played well against rudderless Palace, maybe he needs a bit more experience of running around in the EPL before he returns next season.
