Just been told by a Reds fan that City have bid £6.5m + Sone Aluko for Borini. Anything in it? Scouse fan did say that it was on our website (OWS) but I can find zilch......
Since when did any club website give details of offers they make for another player contracted to a club? They might say "we have expressed an interest / made an enquiry / submitted a bid" but they will never name financials or other players involved for blatantly obvious reasons. And considering Sunlan had £14m accepted for him that would make Aluko valued at £7.5m....
Oh, Happy.................................................................................................................................................................New Year
It was ten million plus four million depending on goals and international appearances. Considering Borini has been ****e this season I'd put his value at out 6m+ extras that maybe could raise to about 10m. If Liverpool still value him the same as before then they're dreaming. No one will touch him.
Richard Lambert would be useful for us. He ain't getting that much game time, had a sad face last night. Let's make him happy. £1m+ Saggers.
Borini is awful. That is my one and only contribution to this thread, we won't be in for him, and if we are, someone needs to give Brucey's fat head a good shake.
Well no, it's 10m, as there's no guarantee the extra 4m will ever be triggered. So if we'd signed him, it didn't work out and moved him on a year later it wouldn't be 14 million would it? Accounts don't work in hindsight. they work on actual in comings and out goings. The press state the top end to increase the impact of the story.
