Watched a film called Lucy... was really good but a bit too much like The Matrix if it was in the real world crossed with Limitless. Scarlett Johansson though, I would destroy her every which way.
My problem with that film is the use of the ten percent of brain myth. Wish Hollywood would stop promoting urban legends as scientific fact.
But it knows that it's bullshit though, the film, and I don't think it presents that as 'fact. It's a 'fact' within the world of the film, but even then it stinks of pseudo-scientific hooey and barely holds up within the film's own structure. Besson is full of it in every film he makes and has his directorial tongue firmly in cheek. It's a Hollywood sic-fi / action flick, not New Scientist, nobody's seriously looking to this for actual scientific research... if they are they're a mug. The film's just a bit of entertaining nonsense that uses the 10% thing as a plot conceit to turn it into a revenge flick. The only scientific truth in it is Johansson... now there's an evolutionary win.
Watched Birdman on news Years Day. An odd film, a little surreal, but I enjoyed it. Michael Keaton, Ed Norton, Emma Stone and Zach Galifianakis were all very good. And Naomi Watts and Andrea Riseborough were hot, as they are in everything
Deffo on both of those. Not sure why people find Anna Kendrick hot....she is very plain to me. A good actress, just not someone I would describe as hot. Vera Farmiga is lovely!!
Yes I saw her on Graham Norton last night with Liam Neeson. She seems a lovely girl and is a talented actress.....just dont find her particularly "hot"
