http://www.yallaf1.com/2011/07/04/renault-f1-designer-defects-to-ferrari/ This is an interesting one, because this "important member" would almost certainly be Densham, but is he on his way to Ferrari? Scarbs believes he isn't: http://twitter.com/#!/ScarbsF1/status/87813986707451904
Firstly, an update on the Tim Densham to Ferrari rumours. Turns out the Greek website who initially reported Densham going to Ferrari made it up, probably due to Densham leaving Renault and Alonso's links to Densham. http://www.yallaf1.com/2011/07/05/sources-claim-densham-not-off-to-ferrari/ I've also got a bit more information on new Ferrari employees. In Autosprint (print), there's an article which reveals that Pat Fry is "fishing" engineers from his former team. It also mentions that Rupart Daraker, an aerodynamicist from McLaren, has now come to Ferrari: please log in to view this image This is backed up by an article in Onmicourse, which not only mentions Daraker at Ferrari, but also goes on to say that two individuals also joined Ferrari after Neil Martin came - Giacomo Tortora, who works with simulations - and Ioannis Veludis, who works with CFD. It also says another name will come up in the next few days, so I look forward to an official announcement from Ferrari. Hopefully it's Prodomou. http://www.omnicorse.it/magazine/10...namico-mclaren-crescono-gli-uomini-di-pat-fry
Ferrari in full blown stealing mode, very much pushing for a better car. Lots of new faces can cause problems in the short term with clashing idea's but once they all blend I'm sure we'll see a Ferrari WCC push (and therefore an Alonso WDC push).
Well Pat Fry is the one building his technical team, so I don't think there would be too many problems - especially as most of them are former McLaren employees who worked with Fry in the past, and probably with Tombazis as well.
