I'm delighted too that we have got a striker in very early in the window. Also puts paid to the Palace sniffing around rumors yesterday. Thanks should go to Sam Allardyce IMO (unless he of course knows something that Harry has been duped over). Hopefully he gets a sub appearance against Burnley then we can judge for ourselves.

I honestly don't know what to expect, but a striker is what was required and I am hopeful that he could do a job for us. Also, I note that with him, Vargas and Isla in the squad now we are rapidly becoming Queens Park Chileans. No bad thing necessarily, but can someone remind me when the Copa America takes place? I do hope that it's not in a crucial part of the season like the Africa Cup of Nations.

Yes, I think that's where he's from but apparently his dad is from Chile and he changed his allegiance and now plays for the Chile national team. That's what it says in the blurb on the offish anyway. A little Chile in here, isn't it?
