lol, I simply cannot agree - this is what I wrote: Ince was out of sorts on the wing but great when swapped over, he'll only get better in this position Fig has got to go Hudds was not in the game and you thinking this: when actually watching the game he was pretty decent, as he always has been when played at left back. As he always has when playing at left back?? He's had some shocking games, that's why he went out on loan!! Every time he gets the ball my stomach goes all funny, he scares the life out of me.
So you comment on inces performance, and huddlestones performance in the game but inbetween you comment in general terms on Figueroa? Bit weird, surely you can see why that would be confusing. I said he played ok at left back, which he did, and usually does. The problems come when he plays either at wing back or on the left of 3 centre backs.
No not weird at all as I believe Hudds and Ince have it in them to have good games, as I have little to no confidence in Figs. I cannot possibly argue anymore with you when you come up with he's always been decent at left back, I'll leave you to your opinion.
Maguire McShane Quinn We flattered to deceive and would of been slaughtered had Arsenal not been way below par - they had just a couple of very silky attacks that masked their overall mediocrity. (Bloody predictive ****e..) McShane (he had to head that ball out) was calling for a shirt, but . . . Maguire should get one as Davies was awful. Figs,no, we were desperate, he did a job, of sorts. Ince showed some decent glimpses of attacking talent, but then disappeared. Aluko reverted to his normal game, bloody waste of space. Sagbo needs to find a team where his style is used properly. Pretty much the team I thought we would put out and so-be-it, but if Bruce plays anything similar in the PL, then . . . You get more out of Quinn in a game and it is usually decent, as in this game (although 3rd could have been a couple), but he doesn't turn it into a threat. I would have preferred Elmo on from the start, we might just have nicked a goal.
Final result: Maguire Quinn McShane Maguire got 169 votes, which is the highest winning total we've ever had in the 2 and a half years I've been doing this.
Let's hope he isn't a flash in the pan which I don't think he is, he may have one flaw which is pace, but sometimes a big man can look deceivingly slow, so lets hope not. Good things to come from Maguire I reckon. UTT
