New player and what position?

If Mr Grayson was told by Mr Bates that you can only BUY one player and the rest have to be loans. What Key Positonal player should Mr Grayson invest in and who? I know its only hyperthetical, just interested on your views guys.

Our biggest gaps are centre midfield and left back and Jack Cork can play both of those positions and is available, so probably him. We could still get a promotionable squad with free transfers and loanees, it would just piss me off a lot.

 

Are we likely to get near Cork with KB at the helm. He's not exactly a popular bloke at Chelsea is he?

Leaving aside that we don't currently have a No. 1 choice keeper, the one player we couldn't do without would be a genuine DM. An Essienesque type of player would be perfect

 

I read somewhere at the weekend that Chelsea had accepted a £750,000 bidfrom Southampton for Jack Cork,,so unless the deals fallen through he won't be coming to Leeds.

 

I'd heard Chelsea accepted a bid from Southampton for that amount about 3 weeks ago. I wouldn't read too much into it.

You think Howson, a new DM, Nunez and Clayton are good enough to last us all season and fill two/three central midfield spaces? I reckon we could do with two or three new central midfielders signing (one DM - someone like Cork; one ballplayer - someone like Koumas/Cohen; and one experienced backup player - someone like Zenden).

 

i dont think 3 midfielders is necessary but definitely 2 and both of them would be DMs but no names come to mind at the moment, i really hope we get lichaj back aswell but i read somewhere that his contract had run out at villa so we should offer him a permanent move

 

Josh, Lichaj has another two years left to run on his villa contract but your right you did read it somewhere as did I but the report was wrong

Also I think Connoly is pretty solid even though I really rated Lihaj I would probably be looking to bring in a more natural leftsided defender....

 

To me we should look no further than Adam Barton from PNE HE WOULD BE A REAL ACQUISTION AND ONE FOR THE FUTURE AS WELL forget the rest
