    "AFC Wimbledon 1-2 Liverpool
So Liverpool will be hosting Championship Bolton in the FA Cup fourth round. Emile Heskey's return to Anfield, he couldn't, could he?"

Other than Coutinho and Markovic in patches, it was generally awful again.
When will we see Can and Henderson in centre mid and a pair of fullbacks playing at fullback?

As per usual, Gerrard will get the plaudits. Yes he was poor but he did get the game changing moments so credit to him. But I won't be creaming over that performance and begging him to be used in the AM role. Has only ever looked comfortable there once Leicester went down to 10 men and once Wimbledon began to tire.

Poor game pretty much set up by the awful attack. Playing Lambert and Gerrard up top just ruins the dynamic completely. And anyone who thinks Lambert is a better option than Mario needs to be banned from this board or beheaded ha.

Missed the first half but heard that Markovic was bright and Sakho was very good?

Absolutely and embarrassingly awful. Great free kick by Gerrard though.

That fat bloke was so funny. Kept pushing lads and whining when the ref blew up

All I see is some desperate wums, one of which has his club in the toilet, really irate lfc won and trying their best to make out it was embarrassing

Lfc fans couldn't give a toss cos we are woeful which makes Everton fan trying to wum and us being ahead of them, in league cup semi, same round of Europa and still in fa cup so very ironic

#melt disagrees. He thought you played well but the nasty opposition people tackled you too much.

You just have to get through games like that, small ground hostile atmosphere and a team up for a big scalp. We've been poor this season but I don't think we should analyze that performance too much, we won and we are in the next round. Nothing more to say really.

I felt we did "ok" but only ok. they starte dout giving us too much respect then they pressed up and frankly we were a joke. once any sort of press came on the two immobile lads up top just became total passengers and we singulalry failed to pass it through them.

coutinho was always availble for a pass but the other two never moved enough to then give him options. lambert IMO just played his second last game for lfc... he'll prob get a game v bolton and maybe fi the europa is kind he might get a sub on but he is just totally and utterly the wrong player... what the f was rodgers thinking... oh here's a lad to sub on 3-0 up when SAS have done their work???

a simple 3/4 man press took lfc apart. it doesn't require any risk to push on lfc and make us fall apart. a simple 4-4-2 with wide men and two strikers willing to put shift in and we are toast.

I'm sure gerrard did look great as wimbledon chased the game and left him acres to play in at the end but at 1-0 and 1-1 we were rocking and both he and lambert were out of the game totally. the spunkfest by the pundits to make him now out to be the worlds greatest player and lfc are mad etc etc doesn't change the reality.

This is getting on my nerves, the pundits are falling over themselves to praise him and I've heard a few bang on saying that he's still our best midfield player. We all love Gerrard and he'll be part of the club forever but in reality he's coming to end of his careerer and is at this moment in time not good enough to be playing week after week. The pundits are full of ****.
