There was a recent interview with Bob shortly after a game in which Pope had let in a soft goal. Bob was asked if he had spoken to the goalie since, and he said no, Pope was feeling too down about it. A bit disappointing that Bob found this part of his job too difficult.
Ben Roberts has said that Henderson will not be out for the Season. There is a chance that he will be back soon. Why do they need to get a young inexperienced Serbian. Why not just keep Pope. Yes he has made mistakes but he is young, there is a good keeper in there. I am a bit confused, so to recap. Etheridge has been given a permanent contract till the end of the season, hardly a ringing endorsement. Henderson- Is injured, could be back soon, but maybe longer. Pope- Going out on loan to Gills or Bury. Dmitrovic- Being brought in from Ujpest, a network club. Phillips- out on loan to Bishops Stortford. This club is going down the ****ter.
How many keepers dont have a couple of dodgy games even the best of the best do, but you stick with them you dont drop them so quickly. I will find out tomorrow more
It's a joke. In the summer there was a huge concern Pope would leave, and now he's deemed surplus to requirements? I don't mind him leaving on loan to regain confidence and *progress*, but if it's done with a view to him not returning then it appears to be a very short sighted move.

I'd like to have seen Pope given the no. 1 jersey at the beginning of the season. There's nothing wrong with his ability, just his confidence. He'll be a top goalie one day, sadly it probably won't be with us.
