It's highly important information. For example were the roasties roasted in dripping or oil??

Christmas dinner was at mine and was rather disappointing. The turkey crowns I've always had in the past from Warrington market have always been excellent. This was sinewy and had a peculiar taste. Real ****ing downer <doh>

It's a good job we didn't go to Cockney Roger's. They didn't have one again this year. Jill hid it in the car <laugh>

I must confess to having a gastric bug on christmas day that rather runied the dnner but my roasties were spot on.

the missus insitent on me cooking a giant turkey cristmas eve and for peace i did.. i bloody know fully well it'd be dry as **** the next day.. which it was.

I therefore having been sick on christmas has a christmas repeat on new years day and got said turkey crown which was bloody excellent cos i cooked it on the day.

Tureky, ham, stuffing (the missues burned) the only issue was she had no dripping for the roasties so they were not as nice.

The turkey crown would have done everyone and would have saved me 20 quid min as well so next year i'll be doing ti for half the cost.

This year we did well on the spends and cut the cost in half of the christmas shop. I think we can knock of another 50 quid easy and spend it on better stuff for the day then.

I think i'll do a bloody tureky for easter using said crown.

  10. I cooked our Christmas dinner as I always do. The turkey crown was bloody fantastic; crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside :)

Barbara and Dave's wedding on the 16th. Wedding will take place at 12.00 noon at the registry office. Then a few drinks at 'The Institution'. Back to the Grange for the buffet and thence to the Cheese. Plate meat and potato pies available for the night time session. Should be a top day and night. Couldn't happen to a more deserving lady after what she's been through <ok>

As an addendum to the post above, Barbara and Dave are having their respective hen/stag dos on Saturday night. The venue? Where else, other than the Cheese, All the women are at one end of the pub and the blokes are at the other. I'm not sure if there will be any partitioning in place to mask the respective strippers or not, but **** it. It's the Cheese. Anything goes <laugh>

What happens if it's good? Do they get the honour of a show or do you not want to ruin your chances for later in the night?
