If his last 3 performances (all at home)are anything to go by, his mind is elsewhere. Hope I am wrong, but if he leaves 30th Jan and we have no back up, we are in serious trouble.

If he leaves??? I know that our beloved club have done some moronic and unexpected decisions over the time but if they decide to sell a striker who has score 70 per cent of our goals over two seasons i would call the day. Nobody (not even QPR ) cant be that stupid to sell their best striker in the middle of the relegation battle. We could get some 20 million if we sell Charlie but if we get relegated the loss would be many times of that. So whats the point?

He's barely missed a minute aside from a one game ban and an injury that lasted a similar length (I think).

Feeling jaded is not the same as having itchy feet and he doesn't seem the agent-driven transfer-monger that some others are.

He would go in the Summer if we were relegated and he might go anyway if we survive but I doubt he'll go before then.

If Stan says it then it must be true. <doh>

I am all for people having "opinions", but why not entitle the thread "I think that Charlie will be leaving".

    Only in England
If he stays or goes we are still in trouble
This isn't about one player ... it's about what has happened to us IMO
Look where we are and how we got there?
Charlie Austin has along way to go before he makes it IMO
He has done brilliantly with us why wouldn't he want to leave our joke club. I wish him well but he will struggle elsewhere

Pure conjecture until proven otherwise. No source so no substance.

So what's the point of this thread or website? It's all speculation.

We wait for the official announcement.

    Just the impression I have.

Against a team 2 divisions below and one 2nd from bottom of Prem League he looked completely out of it. I'll forgive him Swansea. A month or two previous he was scoring against Man City, Chelsea, Soton. Think about it, it's q scary.

To be honest, I don't see it like that. Charlie will bang them in if he actually gets the service. Even against a league two team, he can't score goals completely on his own. How many times did he get the ball to his feet or head in a clear opportunity yesterday? None. The only passes the midfield could manage for him were when his back was to goal and he had to come looking for it from them.

He's the kind of player that, if not given anything, will come out of the box and try to pick it up from the midfield. This is no good. He needs to stay in and around the box and our midfield should be good enough to give it to him where he needs it.

It's not scary, you're just being a big girls blouse!

Get a grip Ffs, it's less than a month since he scored a hat trick.

This thread does you no favours whatsoever and is pretty embarrassing.
