    Leaving aside the rights and wrongs of this I find it astonishing that any English club would entertain the thought of signing Ched Evans. It's commercial suicide.

    I think It's ridiculous he was convicted to serve x amount of years In prison which he has served? Where did the Judge say he must serve x amount of years In prison then be hounded and not allowed to go back to his previous profession?

    If he Is hounded out of football Is he allowed to cut the grass at a local park or become a painter and decorator?...Its not like he's going to take to the pitch wearing an I condone rape T shirt Is It? The media should leave him alone If It wasn't for them he would already be back In his previous profession..

    The Courts decided he was guilty weather he Is or not but he has served the punishment handed down

    Your defence of personal responsibility for one's own actions is a bit out of character (although I agree with it) - for instance, you went nuts when that lady killed herself over the bedroom tax - with the implication being that the state was responsible for her actions (and her maintenance in a council house).

    The worst crime was plating the ugly pizza scoffing tramp after his mate already shot his muck up it.

    On release he was allowed to play again also Graham Stack ex Chelsea keeper raped someone and went back to football.
    Marlon King groped a woman then punched her and went back to football.

    Joey Barton and his Leeds mates beat up a Stani and still plays I think there was an incident with an ice pick too.

    No its not. He's a highly publicised figure which is why you think its unusual. Usually, people don't give a **** about what some ex-con has to say about his conviction because he's a nobody and nobodies don't get national coverage. The amount of ****s that I know who've been locked up for "doing nothing wrong" is just about them all.
