Thanks good support from the tractor boys. Wasn't a classic but you were well worth a draw. Good defending, well organised and difficult to break down. Gherkin made some good saves and didn't really get himself in a pickle. Sorry!
Not looking forward to going up to Ipswich, not what either team want and can see us losing.
Good luck with the promotion push, if you can defend like that you should be ok in the PL.

I know RK was taking there FA Cup seriously but that didn't look like the team were. I worry about three games in a week next week too.

I think we'll win fairly comfortably at Ipswich. We'll have Clyne back and we can play 3-5-2.

In fairness to Ipswich, they did to us during the first 20 minutes what we had done to Arsenal previously. I felt they were well organised and looked good going forward. McGoldrick looked a handful and Merrington was full of praise for the left back, Tyrone Ming, who seemed better going forward to me. It will be a very hard game at Ipswich and a difficult one to win. I felt we would have tussled with them today sufficiently to grind out a 2-0 win yet I think we did not do enough to merit this. The official stats are saying 66% Saints possession yet we did not do enough with that to merit a conclusive result. Great support from the Tractor Boys who must be applauded to treating the oldest football competition with the respect it deserves.

You may well win but don't expect it to be comfortable I think today has shown you that we are nobodies push overs! There will be 26,000 at FPR and under the lights it will be an intimidating atmosphere. On paper with the quality you have then yes you should win but you will have to bloody well earn it against a Mick McCarthy team.

We had over 26000 at FPR last Tuesday against Charlton, Warky, with about 800 Charlton in attendance, I would have thought that with tickets £10 a pop against Prem opposition and support we could and should exceed that.

Tractors had a good discipline against us,but I thought we were poor. They had one chance and took it, we squandered loads of half chance, especially the second half. Too many players were wanting to pass th ball and responsibility onto someone else. Very little quick counter attacking, and I must say I was again disappointed in Pelle, he seems to lack confidence and it's seriously effecting his ability to even pass a ball.

Just got back from the game. Davis showed some excellent touches and was easily our best player.

I thought we really could have done with mane but to me the problem was playing scheiderlin and wanyama together. They were too defensive against a packed midfield and we really could have done with someone to take the game to Ipswich from midfield rather than Davis trying to do it on his own.

Morgan's thoughts - disappointed as winning trophies is the most important thing in a career. Good job we're good at that :emoticon-0145-shake

Will be making the trip up, so here's hoping a good atmosphere and result will make it worth it. And don't worry, 4000 of us made the trip up to Sheffield to see us loose in the quarters, so the fans & players wont be taking it lightly!

Nice that he said he loved the club when he was reminded that he had played 250 games.

Wouldn't be that upset if Ipswich beat us as we can chuck everything at getting top 4.

Not sure that is how Koeman operates. I think he would be upset.

But it would be nice for him to play McCarthy, Targett, Reed, Isgrove and Elia to give some key players a rest. All should be good enough to start and do a job (only one I can't speak for is McCarthy). I can't see it being a good idea playing JWP at right back away from home.

Worst case would be to play the full side after the Man U game when they are not fully recovered, lose (and maybe get some knocks) and then have another away game shortly after. It is a nightmare week of travelling from a prep and training point of view (Manchester, Ipswich, Newcastle). Frustrating zig-zag around the country

Pretty sure Elia can't play as he wasn't eligible for the original game, but agree with the rest.

Pretty sure that doesn't matter. The only reason he wouldn't be eligible is if he had played in a previous round in the FA Cup for another team.

Billy Sharp couldn't play in our Millwall replay in 2012, because he wasn't registered for the original tie, despite not playing for Doncaster in the cup.

Whether that still applies or not, I don't know.
