Maguire - reminds me of a young John Terry, and I think that he'll turn out to be even better, one thing's for sure he wants a first eleven shirt, and on today's performance he deserves one. Look out Curtis Davies! Macca - Goal saving clearances and tackles, played the ball out of defence well, just a shame that our midfield wasn't up to supporting him (or the forwards!) Quinn - I'm putting in on the rostrum for his pure effort and desire, it's a shame that he can't be more incisive, there again it's a shame that his midfield partners can't help him out more! Is this the thread to state how poor Thudd and Davies were or is someone starting another one for that purpose?!
Quinn Maguire Macca PLT will faint when he sees I've put Quinn as my MOTM but fair play to the leprechaun looking mo fo. He didn't put a foot wrong.
Do you think he is good enough to get into our team? I don't, he's not dreadful, but he has a mistake in him. If we are talking about tonight's performance alone, there were far too many balls he could have got to, and when he when up with the ball he either lost it or did nothing with it, then having to run the length of the pitch to cover. Hudds had a poor game too, but he has it in him, whereas Figgy doesn't, sorry just my opinion.
Maguire McShane Ince Quinn worked like a horse but didn't do a great deal. Ince didn't get chance to do much but showed some lovely flashes of individual skill. He was the only player who looked like causing Arsenal any problem.
Maguire Quinn Mcshane Special mention for Ince, and has Huddlestone put weight on, he looked slow and ponderous?
Maguire, mcshane and Quinn for me. I'd be nervous about my atarting position if I was a regular cb at the moment!
