If we're talking about runs and alarming bits of skill, was it Jela who put the 360 on Barry (?) Never seen so many grown men turn into 14 year old kids watching a rap battle
He seems to be getting better with each game and he adds a lot in attack. I'm getting pretty excited about what we could have here.
looks leaner and fitter than when he joined us, really pleased with his performance today looks like we've got a good un.
Was excellent tonight, good defender and not frightened to get forward, Curtis needs to watch out as I can see Maguire/Dawson/Chester at the back next season, Curtis was poor tonight.
I don't think Harry's mobile enough to cover that wide centre half spot at this level as a regular. The wider centre halves have a lot of ground to protect on the flanks when we're pushed forward and often find themselves racing for long balls into the corner with pacey wingers. That said a good defender is a good defender. Good positional sense and knowing what to do make up for lack of speed. Certainly has a lot of potential.
Some want to learn not to criticise others for making the same mistakes as themselves. I would have thought being able to spell the names of the people being written about would be important. It used to be when we had proper journalists, not people with Mickey Mouse qualifications in media studies thinking they are on a par with Frank McGhee, Huch McIlvaney and Brian Glanville.
I would like to see Maguire given more chances in the team this season, to bring him along and the same for Ince as well. Even if they aren't starting I would have them on the bench. With Harry I do think he could turn into something good as he gains in experience. Maybe with injuries playing a big part we could use Brady at LB and Ince in front of him, assuming we play 442 of course.
After today's performance I would think that mantle would be reserved for Thudd, he also appears to have all of the tools but none of the application.
Played well today IMO. I imagine that that's what Alex Bruce would look like if he could play football.
After you got the first two wrong, I thought you were doing it on purpose for the sake of irony - but then you got Brian Glanville right, destroying that theory. So you're left in the glassiest of houses.
