Ok feel free to lock remove this but.....

I think the point was missed on the original thread, I didn't want to literally ban the said thread, I was just pointing out that there was not much activity on the Utd board other than the Gerrard thread. And that more discussion was needed on your general board.

No offence was meant and of course you lot can do what you want on your own board.

Have a look at the thread directory on ours and the Newcastle board, it may be worth your mods doing the same so that you can have the real fan threads and the general discussion on the board. <peacedove>

Tbh, theres not many new threads on our board because it's been a very slow news time, and we lack the posters who like to write paragraphs to start threads that we can read and comment on. Until we sign someone, are rumoured to, or the season starts, i can see this board being very slow. Thats why most of us travel to the Liverpool board, to give other opinions on things.

What do people reckon on the idea of a thread directory? The one they have on the liverpool board looks nice but would anyone actually use it?

What I said on the original ban the steven gerrard thread still stands. There's no harm having an off topic thread to have a chat and chew the fat on at all.
I also don't think they seriously wanted it banned!!

I'm on the Liverpool board quite a bit because there's stuff happening, a load of nonesense half the time but at least it's active.

That is true and the United board is dead most of the time with not many people commenting on articles but Liverpool's board is active. I expect this will change as we get nearer to the start of the season and more people will sign up.
