Today's exit against the Blades as humiliating and embarrassing as it is, is not a shock. If you look at our respective records in the cup it's entirely predictable. United lift themselves in the cup games and we do the opposite! Now if City and Southampton go out (both 1 down already) they would be shocks! Let's hope we can lift ourselves on Saturday and at least get a point!
A couple of the big boys left it late, but appear to be coming through. Stoke 2 Wrexham 1 (now 3-1) Villa 1 Blackpool 0 Still tied:- Man City 1 Sheff Wed 1 (now 2-1 City) Saints 1 Ipswich 1 Yeovil 0 Man Utd 0 (now 0-1) Chelsea 0 Watford 0
Sorry Peruvian I can't agree with you. We are a Premier league club playing at home to a team two divisions below us, has to go down as a shock.
Don't want to give it it's own thread but Remy started for Chelsea and hasn't scored against Watford yet. Interesting me thinks.
Chelsea finally break down Watford, 1-0 up and Man Utd finish off Yeovil 2-0 (FT). So apart from Saints with a draw against Ipswich, all the other PL sides got the job done with the exception of us.
There you go, 2-0 up. Chelsea 2-0 Watford - Loic Remy (70 mins) That will be that. Didier Drogba backheels to Diego Costa, his shot is blocked and balloons up into the air and Loic Remy whistles the ball into the top corner from 15 yards. Terrific hit.
Just seen it. Now you know why I don't do the prediction games. I predict my predictions will be wrong. It's the only way I can get one right.
