Can we stop ding the "around the ground" **** as well? ****ing dreadful. "Come on!!!!" can **** off n'all
So far, it's the only positive outcome from the Fan Working Group meetings. Obviously, the **** going on at the club at the moment was hidden from us, making the whole thing rather pointless.
The point I was making is that if, like some people are saying the KC is starting to look tatty, then the leaseholder is responsible to maintain the stadium, but if that is not being done, surely the council being the owner can insist that the place is kept to a reasonable standard of repair.
That's what I would have thought, and if it is looking worse for wear then they need to exercise the clause in the lease.
We desperately need a new initiative with the council over the stadium and its inadequencies for Premier League football. Even if expansion is part of a longer term plan we still need short term improvements. Good move to final stop the embarrassment of anouncing the smallest attendances in the prem to some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Can someone ask BFSJ to stop introducing the away mascot to the away fans..Its cringe worthy...".If you turn around the away fans will give you a wave..." Numpty... I give them a wave of my own...VVVVVV
It's a fair enough point, it's "embarrassing" not being able to sell out the ground at £16 a ticket for some of the games, but QPR, Burnley, and Swansea (surprised me just how small the Liberty really is) all have lower crowds. I'm not sure it's that embarrassing in itself though. I see the attendances and just think it's lower than it should be because of fans staying away whilst AA is acting the way he is.
How much money goes into AA's business as a result of someone buying a ticket for a game at Wembley? Or the Emirates, or the Hawthorns, or Loftus Road?
After 10 games our average attendance is 23,202. Last year it was 24.117. Down by 3.8%. Although we do have Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Sunderland at home who generally attract big attendances.
i used to like the attendance being announced....used to bet who got the closet :] but suppose the vocal minority of got there way !
The club and the OSC believe that ****e to be popular. Even claiming there were protest when it was previously dropped. I know nobody that likes it , and lenty that hate it. The only 'protest' I recalis a half dzen peope asked at a Cottingham OSC meeting.
It still goes up on the screen, it's just no longer announced, due to it being jeered by almost every away team.
