Yep, he's sure to get a run-out. Will Sanchez be held back, though? They're half the team when he doesn't play.
They're list of injuries is even worse then ours. The 18 included 2/3 very inexperienced players. If we can keep Sanchez quiet (!) we'll get a draw and replay at least.
There's some complaints on the Facebook page about Coach 3 not having a toilet haha. Poor fans on board that one.
As Paul and John sang "I've got a feeling ". Ask most fans and you'll get the majority predicting defeat and a few a win. Most seem to dismiss, or perhaps forgotten, a draw and replay on TV is a distinct possibility. Probably the scenario both managers don't want mind.....
5 litre orange squash bottle cut in half. Length of 3/4" tube. Gaffa tape. Leave end of tube outside door when you close it. Hang handle of bottle over microphone holder at top of steps ready for use. Sorted. On posh coaches you even get a fold down seat. For the ladies.
****in poodles. On City Psycho double deckers we just pissed in a lemonade bottle then lobbed it out of the bus window. Sometimes we didnt even use the bottle!! Heard a story about blokes pissing down a rolled up programme into the kid in fronts pocket in the Kempton. Good old days.
For me, now in the mid-winter of life, I want to see us win it which would be the icing on the cake of supporting City in my lifetime. BMB, lovely words mate, lovely words.
Was on a Simon Gray coach to see City v Man Utd in the league cup in the 80's (we lost 5-0). Load of older blokes had had a skin full prior to departure from outside the library in town. Anyway, by the time we're at somewhere like Howden they are all busting for a piss and the driver told them we weren't stopping anytime soon. They all pissed in a Grandways carrier bag and one tried to push said bag (full) out of the sunroof aperture. It split.
It's not football related but I once shat into an empty paint tin. Not proud or owt but it had to happen.
Should not be a problem in todays environment. With the internet we are all much more knowlegdable from a medical perspective. Should be a breeze to self catheter!
There's always the 'Reserve Team' element to contend with in games like this. Non-regulars in the first team will hopefully use the game to force their way back into contention, but sometimes players react negatively to playing with the 'stiffs' (McShane, Sagbo, Harper, Ince and Aluko might be vulnerable to this). There's also a problem when the backbone of the team are rested, because their replacements (who are often rusty) have to immediately gel and get straight into the fast pace of competitive football. Hopefully we as supporters will be patient and take these things into account today rather than expecting the reserves to pick up exactly where the first team left off.
Great to win today but as long as we come out of it with no injuries would be good! Wba is a massive game on sat we need to start winning the six pointers!
