Does anyone know around what time of year the shirts go down in price, would like to buy both away kits without spending £80.
Wouldn't have thought it would be before April time. Easter is quite early this year though (first week of April) so they might knock them down a bit in March ahead of people away on holidays while the schools are off. Then they'll get the proper knockdown late April/May depending on our Cup progress as they'll want to shift the last of them around about when we play our last game.
Bought myself a hat and gloves combo with hull city afc on new years day. Look closer next time. ****-stirring ****.
It isn't a name change thread. It is a name disappearance thread. When the old stock is sold off it will appear there is a shop which sells merchandise connected to some organisation, nothing to indicate it is a football club, called 1904.
If you don't understand why this is an important issue that isn't anyone else's fault. We'll continue to talk about the big issue at the club until it ****s off for good.
How militant does that make you sound? "We will hijack every discussion until we get our own way!" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hardly hijacking the discussion, it's a thread about the club name being removed from everything, so that post could harpy be any more on-topic. Sent from the dark side of the moon, using an I-Ferne Farve.
Have the club even considered relocating the city centre club shop? Princes Quay must now have the lowest footfall in town and a new location needs to be established before all the prime spots are taken leading up to city of culture. A golden opportunity for a pop up shop in St Stephens was also missed over Christmas. What is our club shop strategy going forward because at the moment its sub-rugby league?
I was in there two days ago wanting to buy something with Hull City on and there was nothing, Clever twat.
Last time I was in Hull (1998) the shop was in Paragon Square I think and I understood that it was run by volunteers. Merchandise I have bought has been through the Club shop on line which seems to have a huge selection and stock. Sent from Australia by Bush Telegraph.
I find it embarrassing that we're outdone in our own city by clubs with a tenth of our marketing budget.
Seconded. Surely there should be more then a bobble hat and scarf set ( which I couldn't find) with the official clubs name on it for sale in a Premier League club shop? North Ferriby have a better choice then us and, sadly, FC and HKR knock spots off us. Whilst we are distancing ourselves from the clubs official name with these back door tactics both the local RL clubs are pushing the 'local, Hull born and bred and proud of it' theme for all its worth. I have relatives living abroad who wanted stuff with 'Hull City' on it and I honestly cannot find anything in the club shop. Not even a simple car sticker or lapel badge.
I really dont think they do. Tell your relatives to go online theres loads of stuff on the shop website. I cant say if its in stock in the shop as i've not been in, but its on line which is how its going to be. If you mean that the club are taking the name Hull City off stuff i imagine it may be true eventually. But look online the amount of stuff has definitely increased.
